Description
Medium to large, globose, wide to elongate, convexoplane-dorsibiconvex, shell smooth, may be partly corrugate on anterior fold, small apical-transapical foramen, deltidial plates in neanic shells, orthocline-anacline area in small shells, hypercline area in large shells, weak to strongly plicate commissure, thick shell wall with muscle scars weakly incised, solid teeth, relatively delicate hinge, socket plates, small crural bases, dorsal-dorsolateral spiralia, ventrally positioned jugal processes with bulky jugal plates. [ Differs from Lissatrypa and Meifodia in inflated size, elongate shape, hinge plates, stumpy jugal processes.]
