Description

Small to large, elongate, subspatulate, dorsibiconvex, anterior commissure uniplicate, foramen small, permesothyrid, labiate, outer hinge plates attached to valve floor and supporting crural bases, inner hinge plates convergent with valve floor or low septum, forming a shallow chamber, loop long, narrow, with broad crural processes, transverse band angularly arched and recurved.
