Description

Small to medium size, strongly biconvex, outline transversely subovate, lateral slopes with few strong, angular plicae separated by angular interspaces, fold and sulcus moderately differentiated, angular, slightly wider than lateral plicae or interspaces, microornament of regularly and closely spaced, slightly lamellose growth laminae fringed with single row of few short, solid spinules and bearing 2 rows of punctae, cardinal process raised, knoblike, supported by low dorsal adminicula that border dorsal adductor field, otherwise similar to Paraspiriferina.
