Description
Biconvex, transverse to subcircular or elongate oval, massive shells, without dorsal fold and ventral sulcus, few growth lines irregularly spaced, ventral beak short, strongly curved concealing small foramen, cardinal plate ventrally concave, cardinal flanges well developed, dorsal myophragm present. Lower Permian: southern China, Iran, Turkey, Armenia.
