Description

Transversely semioval, cardinal extremities variable, biconvex to convexoconcave, uniplicate, coarsely costellate without capillae, delthyrium and notothyrium wide, interareas relatively long, curved, ventral muscle scar with median ridge, pedicle callist not developed, posterior pair of dorsal adductor scars lying posterolaterally of anterior pair and separated by strong, divergent vascula myaria, dorsal mantle canal system apocapate. Upper Ordovician (Arenig)-Lower Devonian (Emsian): cosmopolitan.
