Description
Small to medium size, outline transversely subovate, usually strongly ventribiconvex, ventral valve subpyramidal, dorsal valve flattened or weakly convex, cardinal extremities subangular to rounded, ventral interarea high, catacline, fold and sulcus weakly developed, entire surface covered with moderately numerous, rounded, simple costae, microornament unknown, ventral interior with high median septum laterally fused to valve wall and dental flanges by callus, dorsal interior with stout, thick ctenophoridium supported by thick callus, jugum unknown.
