Description
Shell transverse, slightly concavoconvex, weakly sulcate; spines orthomorph oblique (40°), symmetrically arranged; delicate dorsal valve internal structures with low, narrow median septum, or breviseptum, and anderidia not fusing posteriorly; cardinal process pit present.
