Description
Concavoconvex profile, distinctive unequally parvicostellate ornament but not with granular texture, small chilidium, pseudodeltidium not filling delthyrium, denticles over half valve width, dental plates present, confining posterolateral part of ventral muscle field that is flabellate, open anteriorly, similar to Plectella but more convex (sometimes geniculate), with side septa in dorsal valve more pronounced, more numerous, more complex, weak dorsal platform present.
