Description

Shell small to medium, ventral valve medianly arched, pseudodeltidium small or absent, shell surface costate, rarely bifurcating, with numerous growth lines, spines high angled ( 55^{\\circ} to 70^{\\circ} ), dorsal valve with well-developed median septum, or without, short, curved, inner socket ridges
