Description
Shell small to medium, ventral valve medianly arched, pseudodeltidium small or absent, shell surface costate, rarely bifurcating, with numerous growth lines, spines high angled ( $55^{\\circ}$ to $70^{\\circ}$ ), dorsal valve with well-developed median septum, or without, short, curved, inner socket ridges
