Description
Coarsely costate to dichotomously costellate, ventral interarea usually procline, dorsal interarea vestigial, fulcral plates very wide, flat to concave, defining elongate sockets restricted to concave zones adjacent to hinge line, cardinal process ridgelike, apparently formed of upturned posteromedial edges of brachiophore plates, not continuous with dorsal median septum
