Medium size, widest at hinge, disks of both valves reticulate, trails costate, spines thick, but few, single on ears, venter, ventral adductor platforms raised, dendritic, diductor scars strongly striated, cardinal process trifid, shaft short, continuous with median septum, lateral ridges, ear baffles, latter strong in ventral valve
