Description

Shell medium, trapezoidal, shell surface capillate, ventral valve moderately convex, deep ventral sulcus originating at beak, with single plication in sulcus, spines orthomorph oblique, symmetrically arranged, ventral valve interior with long myophragm, dorsal valve interior with cardinal process pit, long median septum, long, straight inner socket ridges parallel to hinge, short anderidia, no brachial ridges.
