Strongly concavoconvex profile, unequally parvicostellate ornament, small pseudodeltidium, small teeth, dental plates, relatively small ventral muscle field, dorsal interior as in Calyptolepta but with strong central pair of septa fused together along their length, homologizing a wide median septum, except where they divide anteriorly, further short side septa constrained within muscle field, bema, weak platform present
