"Medium size, planoconvex with short adult trail, hinge equal to maximum width, elongate spine bases posteriorly, becoming ribs at midlength of corpus, rugae present posterolaterally on both valves, spines near hinge, scattered on venter, cardinal process with wide shaft, weak lateral ridges, ear baffles, shell substance thick."
