Description
A genus of brachiopods with a subquadrate shape and variable cardinal extremities, biconvex, unisulcate to rectimarginate, and smooth except for concentric growth lines and sporadic, low radial ridges. The internal margins are finely striate. Teeth apices are near the delthyrial boundary of transverse teeth ridges. The ventral diductor scars are elongate, separated posteriorly by a low median ridge that bifurcates anteriorly to contain a medial adductor scar. The cardinal process is absent or rudimentary. Found in the Lower Cambrian to Middle Cambrian of North America, Australia, Siberian Platform, and eastern China.
